Welcome to the Experience Design Lab (EXDL) Word Wide Web site and the EXDL Garden. I sincerely hope you will enjoy the site and the various materials available in this garden of inspiration.

This garden is under constant development and you will find new designs, new plants and new postings, videos, links etc. almost everyday. Initially most of the materials will be from me the head gardener Niels Peter Flint and the excellent people helping in and with maintaining the EXDL garden.

Of hopefully enjoyable and highly inspirational material here in the garden you will fx. find the word famous FLINTS SUSTAINABLE DESIGN TV Station, never heard about it?? well now you have The TV station is free to watch and its therefore in the FODDER section, where we offer materials for free for you to hopefully become inspired from.

Hopefully you as a user will also start to interact more fx. in developing the another material available here on the site The RADICALLY RETHINKING DESIGN AND THE WORLD book materials which I have been working on for years and which Im now gradually putting up here on this site - the seeds have been pampered now for years now it needs to grow - it comes as written texts as well as videos partly produced by Vidya Chari. Sudeep Bhattacharya has done the amazing artwork for PDF-files you will see here too. I have to mention again and again that this material will never finish - and hopefully when you as a user start adding to it it will become even more resourceful and inspiring. The Book-material is also part of the FODDER section.

There are lots and lots of people directly and indirectly involved in making the materials for a site like this. Some you will meet when you start browsing. Benjamin Mailian has done a fantastic job in setting up this structure for this site. Anjali Vasa developed the amazing flashfile which you hopefully will be able to see later, but below you see images from the EXDL-garden.

You will also find the EXDL catalogue which is speared by the superwoman Vineeta Nahar. The EXDL Catalogue is one of the ways we are trying to make money, so its part of The FUEL Section. Gradually over the coming months you will see a lot of interesting products but also information about the materials becoming available in the EARTH Section (its the basis of it all) such as the fantastic wild silk and products from it which EXDL is selling on-line as well as from the NPFlint Space on the Micro Macro Monde Center in France. The “EXDL Materials we use” section will expand as and when we have time to up-load stuff.

The EXDL Garden was part of our original site-concept developed 4 years ago. You enter a magical paradise-like garden (which btw is on the way real-life in the Micro Macro Monde Center in France - see under DREAMS) where you follow your instincts into what you want to experience on this site. Due to technical constraints the garden is not working fully, but please click on the images below to get to the different categories of the EXDL website.

There is plenty on this site that you might an opinion about - please write or do whatever and also become part of what we do here and elsewhere. If you after having been through this site have a big desire to get in contact please feel free to contact us. Also if you feel like getting involved in projects please start looking around here and you will find several possibilities - one is The COMMITMENTS Program which you will find more information about here in the site. But there are also courses and other strange things happening at an old watermill in France - The Micro Macro Monde Center - even here this summer which you can take part in - just look for Perma Culture Design Courses.

So good luck and looking forward to hearing from you
