Cocoon Living
Due to global warming we face the fact that the poles and the icecaps are slowly melting. As a huge number of the world’s population is situated near the coast line, it will be a great challenge to relocate those people in the future. Furthermore the population density of the world is increasing rapidly making the search for a solution even more urgent.

How can we create a new way of inhabiting the Earth?

Imagine that people in the future are living in hovering cocoons above the surface of the Earth. Simple living is the keyword and everything unnecessary is stripped from the private sphere. In the cocoon you sleep, eat and do the most basic things. Each cocoon has a standard interior and is very minimalistic. Unlike today things like art, recreational and green areas are a part of public life.

The molecular structure of the cocoon makes it possible to both hover and stay on the ground. The cocoon is able to move around by means of an advanced GPTS technology (Global Positioning Transportation System) and you just anchor when you reach your destination.

All activities such as school, job, leisure activities, cinemas and museums etc. are gathered in public buildings called Centerpoints.
