New Scientist - DDT on the southpole

Here you have a proof that the widespread and uncontrolled use of chemicals are spread - even to areas where humans come rarely. Im personally sure we have only seen the top if the iceberg regarding “uncontrolled use of chemicals” and we will see lots of new findings the coming years. If you take water contamination it is expected that we will have even bigger problems in the near future since the chemicals from fx. farming (where DDT was also mostly used) is getting into fx. groundwater. The system (the earth) has to “neutralize” all the pollutants and that can take time and in this process we might have serious problems since fx. our drinking water, as already seen many places on the planet, will be impossible to drink. What are we going to do - well…wait and see, BUT meanwhile of course stop what can be stopped. Lots of new radical rethinking is needed to shift. This site will hopefully help to show new alternatives.
