A short intro to WORLDBY WORKSHOPs

This is a very short intro to the WORLDBY WORKSHOPs. Here you find sketches, illustrations and simulations of WORLDBY as envisioned by Niels Peter Flint - a kind of utopian city that could be an actual living structure on a not yet chosen place on planet Earth. Initially this will be a virtual world a where projects developed in the Actics COMMITMENTS program possibly could be “exhibited”. You will be able to read more about The COMMITMENTS PROGRAM soon here on this site but also on www.actics.com. 

WORLDBY WORKSHOPs

A series of workshops, exhibitions and other activities are already planned around WORLDBY. The first WORLDBY WORKSHOP is in MALMØ, Sweden and it is the first of a series of workshops happening over the coming years. The results of the work developed will be exhibited in relation to the UN Global Climate Change Convention in Copenhagen 2009. As of now WORLDBY WORKSHOPS are planned in the following countries:

-May, Sweden, Malmø
-August, France, Cormes
-September, UK, London
-September, Denmark, Copenhagen
-October, US, New York
-November, UAE, Sharjah
-December, Gambia
-December, India, Ahmadabad & Bangalore
-January 2009, Mexico

The WORLDBY WORKSHOPs project are part of the ACTICS COMMITMENTS Program. 
The COMMITMENTS Program is about creating new visionary sustainable solutions.

The first WORLDBY WORKSHOP is in Malmoe, Sweden May 7th 2009. This will be the first workshop out of many where the participants will develop dreams and ideas not only for this specific concept - the sketches and illustrations here are only to inspire.
