My name is Niels Peter Flint and I’m a designer and architect who has for the past more than 20 years worked with sustainability, design and architecture. After having worked with Sottsass Assoatti in Milan in my early twenties I realized that ozone holes and a lot other issues were going to become VERY BIG on the agenda. I started an organization at that time called O2 - its still exists www.o2.org. - that’s 20 years ago this year that O2 was officially started in Denmark and internationally.

I worked a lot in Denmark trying to get designers and architects exited about the possibilities in doing sustainable products, services and buildings, but its was EXTREMELY difficult to get anyone to really start taking this all serious. NOW on the other hand - and a bit late if you ask - and the planet too I think, we are globally realizing that things need to change.

I personally believe its a bit late, but better late than never. Also personally I don’t really believe that much of what we have done till today will look the same in ten years from now. With the massive problems we are facing such as a lot more beings on the planet, a lot of global warming (which obviously could have been a lot less if we had started earlier) and with the wonders and the opposite of new technology going to affect life the coming years DRAMATICALLY - I believe we need some really RADICALLY DIFFERENT IDEAS AND VISIONS for the future - and most of all we need TO REALIZE them.

Now the material you see here on these pages is my personal thoughts and ideas mixed with a lot of material from all over the world. This site and these pages is supposed to become a kind of serious forum for exiting and holistically orientated sustainable lifestyle examples - I hope these pages will inspire - despite the many very boring and sometimes really scary facts, but that’s life and we cant change it now. So please use this material in any way you want, Id appreciate if you can help in varies ways if you think the material is relevant by IE. buying some of the products we will sell from the site in the near future, you can also hire me as lecturer, workshop developer or whatever or you could maybe even help finding sponsoring for the continuation of the project. And lastly you can help by adding to the project so that it becomes even more relevant and up to date.
